The Buzz

"Experience is the best teacher as Billy and his "purple shadow" learn a sweet lesson in Billy and the Monster Who Ate All the Easter Eggs. Beautifully illustrated, nicely formatted, this quick, easy story will be read over and over again." ~ 5 Star Review, Julia B., Amazon

"My daughter has really been enjoying David Chuka's Billy and Monster books. This is another fun addition to the "family." As always, the story has a lovely moral (this time teaching the value of moderation - definitely the biggest word in the book)! It's based on the very realistic theme of overindulging in chocolate/sweets, which virtually anyone can relate to and which kids find a lot of fun. And, awesome pictures as always. Definitely recommend it." ~ 5 Star Review, Renee B., Amazon

"I really like the little monster in this book and how they get into trouble together. What child hasn't snuck into the cache of candies that their parents have hidden? Cute story with a lesson for the little ones in your family!" ~ 5 Star Review, Patricia T., Amazon

"This is a cute story about a little boy Billy and his funny friend Monster. They love chocolate so much that they forget about obeying to older. At night, they sneaked to the chocolate egg pyramid, started eating the chocolate eggs and made a big mess. On the morning, they not only got in a big trouble, but they also got a bad stomach pain. They both had to learn a lessons about MODERATION. Nice illustrations, book well written." ~ 5 Star Review, OPV, Amazon

"Billy and his monster friend enjoy lots of fun in this book, filled with great pictures and a cute story. It shares a lot about celebrating holidays, and intertwines humor and family love throughout the story. Hidden in the story is a nice message about eating in moderation, a well needed lesson in our culture of over-eating. Billy ends up being proud of himself and makes good decisions by the end of the book, while all the while sharing some adventures with his cute monster friend. Great read to share with your children or grandchildren year round, not just for the Easter holiday." ~ 5 Star Review, Katie W., Amazon

5 Random Questions 33

I love answering random questions, and I love reading other people's answers to random questions. So I thought that would make a fun series. I will answer the 5 questions in my post and you can answer them in the comments. We can all get to know each other better, how much more fun can you get?

So here we go 5 Random Questions:

1. Have you ever sleepwalked? yes, when I was little I sleep walked downstairs and tried to use the couch as a toilet (thankfully my dad stopped me), and this isn't sleep walking but it is a funny sleep story - When I was a freshman in college one night my roommate got up to go to the bathroom and I sat up in my sleep and said "What are you doing?" she said "going to the bathroom" and I said "why?". I didn't remember any of it in the morning. It still makes me laugh to picture it :)

2. Can you build a house of cards? I don't know, I never tried

3. What’s your favorite TV advert? The ones that stand out in my mind are those commercials with the two guy being the computer guys Mac and PC and their funny discussions. I still use a pc so they never convinced me, but I always thought they were funny.

4. Can you play poker? I never learned how to play, I'm sure I could if I learned but I have no idea if I would be any good

5. If your parents hated your partner you currently loved would you ditch him or carry on with him despite the protests?
If they hated him I would try to talk it out and see what it was they had an objection to and then decide if I could live with it or not, if they just didn't care for him I would probably carry on and see if something specific came up. If nothing specific, just a mismatch of personalities then I would carry on.

I can't wait to read your answers!

Ultimate Blog Party 2014!!!

It's time again for the Ultimate Blog Party! The Ultimate Blog Party is hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom. I admit I am a little late this year. There has been a lot of craziness this month because the Random family is moving (more about that later)! So I forgot to get this post up on time, but better late than never, right?

And to all the visitors from the Ultimate Blog Party, welcome, feel free to look around!

Ultimate Blog Party 2014
About Me

I am Randomly Fascinated. I chose that name because when thinking about a possible blog I knew that I would  never be able to choose just one topic to talk about. I am fascinated wide variety of subjects and I tend to randomly jump from one to another. I think that I originally started this blog as an outlet to get some adult interaction while staying home with my Little Man.

I am married to the most wonderful man ever (if you don't believe me read about how he browns meat for me)! I have two Little Men one who is 2 1/4 and one who is 7 1/2 months old.

I get fascinated by random things like which diaper brand is best. I love to cook. I love to try new recipes and I am totally comfortable adapting recipes to my taste (Mr. Random is not a picky eater so I am allowed to adapt to my tastes, which are significantly pickier). I also love to find new ways to save/make money. I love to make crafts and art. I enjoy being creative and making things with my hands. My favorite artistic medium is ceramics and my dream is to one day own a kiln so I can make ceramics again. I love pinterest. I tend to spend more time pinning than repinning because I also love combing blogs. I also have a lot of other random thoughts that I post about.

I am not hosting a giveaway on here this year because I am sponsoring a prize on the Ultimate Blog Party.

5 Random Questions 32

I love answering random questions, and I love reading other people's answers to random questions. So I thought that would make a fun series. I will answer the 5 questions in my post and you can answer them in the comments. We can all get to know each other better, how much more fun can you get?

So here we go 5 Random Questions:

1. What would be your ideal partner? my husband

2. Have you ever been professionally photographed? for my senior pictures, and for our wedding our photographer was Mr. Random's cousin who is a professional photographer

3. What’s your favorite joke? I don't know if I have a favorite. I enjoy listening to them but I'm not very good at thinking of them

4. What’s been your best present? I have had lots of great presents. One that stands out in my mind was a picture my husband (then boyfriend) gave me of the courtship class that we met in. The class and the picture had happened several years before we started dating, and we had lost contact in the middle so it was special to me that he had it.

5. What’s been your worst present?
Oh, I don't remember, I try not to rank presents as bad presents, all presents are a thoughtful expression of love (or should be :) )
